Where did Winter go and my Youth?

So much for keeping up with my blog. Winter has sped by with hardly any snow…I had only one opportunity to do a snow dance. Some things in my life have changed for the better…like getting a new job and being able to buy groceries, yay food is always welcome.

I turned double nickles this year and for the first time in my life I am feeling the effects of getting older. A couple of health issues but nothing serious. My Mom was kind enough to take me out to breakfast on my birthday and pointed out the fact that I was now eligible for the Senior Citizen menu. Ah, one of the perks of getting older. In my mind I screamed Noooo, I can’t be a senior citizen. Suffice to say getting older truly does SUCK (pardon the word but nothing else really fits).

I generally don’t like to be cynical but I am missing a zest for living…I gotta get a passion going.

Fall is Here!

Finally the trees are changing colors. Over the weekend I took some pictures of all the glorious colors I could find while taking a walk in my neighborhood. My current header image is from one of the local trees in Boise. Now, I know what your thinking why am I so excited over the fall season? I grew up in Southern California where we didn’t really have seasonal changes, so I really enjoy seeing the seasons change. You can see some of my fall photos here!
